In Mexico, the word means" hitman". " Sicario: Day of the Soldado isn't so much a sequel as a pilot for an entirely new cycle of Sicario movies centred on the characters of the 2015 film (minus Emily Blunt), directed by the man Sicario is a gorgeously haunting movie that you sort of feel rather than see. Even the music was written to be felt and not seen.

The whole of this movie is like an oil leak coming up through your bed or through your feet or something. Sicario should have remained as a standalone film. Taylor Sheridan is a tremendous writer but he just seemed to have nothing to say with this movie, and if he did it was very unclear. Stephen King's" Desperation" would make a great TV Series.
